The main purpose of this website is to let everyone know about Bianca's story, to share our experiences and recount her medical trials and tribulations and, if possible, to allow readers to become a part of her life.

Furthermore, we are also asking, if you are willing, for help to sustain the expenses of Bianca's treatment and therapy.

Check with your post office if there are different charges for "poste restante" or "general delivery". Given that sending money by post is quite risky, we advise you take proper precautions to hide the contents so they cannot be seen from outside the envelope.

We prefer bank transfers, given the entire contribution can then be used for Bianca. Paypal charges a commission, so we receive less money than you donate; though we understand that it is simpler for those who wish to pay from overseas and/or by credit card. Postepay charges 1 euro for every recharge. Cash is least preferable given that it is easy to steal, and there is no trace of the payment: for honesty's sake, we prefer that everything is documented.

At any rate, we ask that you specify in the subject line (message/reason/description) of the donation "4Bianca" or "For Bianca", and that you identify yourselves in some way so we can officially thank you on our thank you page. We will put whatever name we see on the payment in the thank you, unless you specify otherwise (eg. not full name, nickname), or you advise that you do not wish to appear at all.

On this website, we will keep a tally of the money received so far for Bianca's medical expenses:

474.26 euros

compared to the Bianca's medical expenses, which are for the moment:

1029.41 euros

and show the difference, being the amount we still would need for Bianca's medical expenses, which is currently:

555.15 euros

Should this become a negative amount (that is, we receive more money than necessary to cover our expenses), the money will be used for future treatment for Bianca, which we will continue to keep a detailed record of.

When Bianca is no longer with us, and if at that time in the distant future we have raised more money for her treatment than we have used, we will donate that money to a charity which looks after cats who are less fortunate even than Bianca. We do not have a specific one in mind right now as it doesn't seem very urgent.
